Good things first: SOPA / PIPA have been shelved for now. So I guess Blackout Day did what it was supposed to do: rising awareness. Just because you and I know what SOPA is doesn't mean your average US senator does. I admit that I've been waiting for this announcement with ghoulish impatience. I still don't really get the point of "re-imagining" a show that's still on the air and doing so well, but it's probably no skin off the original's nose. If the US version is good: fine, more to enjoy. If not: even better, more to mock.
